Jinx Cyfer O. Gimeno

My name is Jinx Cyfer O. Gimeno,21 years old.I am a college student taking Bachelor of Science in Electronics at Fullbright College. I lived in Barangay Inagawan Puerto Princesa City,Palawan. One of my biggest dream/goals is to become a Professional Engineer but of course it's not that easy because I still have a lot to go through before I can achieve all my dreams.
For me an “Awesome Human” is someone who acts with kindness, empathy and integrity.; they uplift others while accepting responsibility for their own development and, even in tiny ways, they make the world a little bit better.Fundamentally, it's about choosing to show up for people and the community with genuine care, not about being flawless or accomplishing big things.

Jara Anabella K. Vergara

Hi! I’m Jara Anabella K. Vergara, a 3rd year undergraduate currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Specialization in Microbiology at Centro Escolar University – Manila. As the eldest of seven siblings, I carry many responsibilities at home while balancing my studies and extracurriculars. It's challenging, but it has shaped my resilience and purpose. At my core, I am driven by my deep curiosity and thirst for knowledge on the world of microorganisms and how they can be harnessed to improve the health of our marine environment. With the AHF Scholarship, my dream of becoming a marine microbiologist is one step closer to becoming a reality. The scholarship will not only ease the financial challenges at home but also empower me to focus on gaining the knowledge and skills I need to make a meaningful impact on marine conservation and bioremediation.
