Meet our Awesome Humans Scholars!

Hi, everyone! I’m Justine Kate Punzalan. I’m a motivated and enthusiastic student, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Financial Management. I learned about the scholarship program of The Eco Shift through their social media posts. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to receive financial support for my studies. Looking towards the future, my hopes and dreams revolve around building a successful career in the Finance industry. With this help, I get to be a step closer to reaching those dreams.

Hi! I'm Lyn Jasmin A. Fermin. I'm a Grade 12 ABM student from University of Makati. I enjoy learning about Accountancy. My current interests are opening parcels, drinking iced coffee after a full schedule at school, and practicing my skills in preparing financial statements. With the help of this scholarship, I’m a step closer to one of my goals which is to take BS Accountancy and be a graduate of the program.

Hey there! I’m Angie Eds F. Asuero, a 2nd year college student at World Citi Colleges - Antipolo, pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management. I just wanted to share how grateful I am for this scholarship. It is truly a game-changer for my education. This scholarship is a stepping stone towards my ultimate dream of completing my studies and eventually working on a cruise ship. I am confident that with hard work and dedication, I’ll find success in the future.

Hello! My name is John Dave L. Aguilar, and I am a graduating student under the academic track, STEM Strand, at Immaculate Conception Academy. I was born and raised in Cabangan, Zambales in a family where fishing is the main source of income. My father works as a fisherman and my mother stays with us at home. I’m the middle child in our family with 5 kids.
To help my parents, I volunteer in an organization called Alon & Araw Club where we teach kids how to surf. In exchange, the kids join the club’s beach clean-up and recycling activities. Growing up by the sea, I have always loved and respected nature. I’m happy to be part of The Eco Shift where our advocacies for nature align.
It Is an honor and a privilege to receive this scholarship, which will play a crucial role in my academic and professional journey. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity that The Eco Shift and its consumers have provided me.

Hello! I am Romelyn Ferrer, 22 years old, taking a Bachelor of Science in Psychology program at the University of Makati. After my father’s passing in 2017, my mother has been raising me alone. To financially support my studies, I do part-time work -accepting commissions for school work and write-ups. But despite my financial difficulties, I have managed to focus on my studies and have been a Dean’s Lister since my first year in college. My dream is to be a clinical psychologist and a lawyer. With the help of the scholarship program from The Eco Shift, not only will I be able to get closer to that dream, but also grant my wish to someday give back to the people who helped me in my studies and to pay it forward, too.

Greetings! I'm Julie Ann C. Caray, a 21-year-old, third-year student at Tañon College in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Financial Management. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to The Eco Shift and the people behind this program. I sincerely appreciate being a grantee of this scholarship. Beyond the support which has relieved some of the financial burden of my education needs, I am happy to have connected with students, driven with the same enthusiasm as mine, to finish their studies at any cost.

Hi! I’m Christianie Mae Saludar Elorza, a third year student from Negros Oriental State University. I indulge myself in reading books, writing poems and short literary pieces. By doing so, I have developed a fascination towards the world of literature and journalism. This has made me join our university student publication, The NORSUrian, where I am a feature writer. While it is one of my wishes to become a published writer, it is also a dream of mine to work in the healthcare sector. I have always believed in contributing for the greater good of the community, and this is why I chose to study pharmacy. With the help of The Eco Shift Scholarship program, it is my hope that I will be able to take both paths in the future.

Hello! My name is Jinx Cyfer O.Gimeno, 20 years old. I’m a student at Palawan State University taking a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering program. On days when I have free time, I enjoy listening to music and reading manga and Wattpad stories. I enjoy challenges and embrace personal growth with enthusiasm. I channel this by sharing my leadership skills at our school's Student Government where I have been a part of since my first year in college. I would describe myself as ambitious, a young woman on a journey to discover my true potential.
