My name is Niena Sevilla. My family and relatives used to call me “Tiny” but only few of them remember me by this nickname. I grew up in a beautiful town, Palompon, Leyte where nature and environment are of great importance. I was an OFW for almost 13 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It did not start well when I arrived the Kingdom. Luckily, I ended up working at one of the biggest private hospitals and had the best career as a Medical Equipment Purchaser before I came back to the Philippines for good. I am a single mother of two grown up sons, one had finished BS Psychology and a Vocal Coach while my youngest just graduated from Senior High and will soon become a father.
I am currently working at a Maritime Training Center, but I am also passionate in doing business online, feature writing and more. I have been an advocate of environment awareness in my own little ways by becoming a member of the Jaycees in the late 90s’, by writing articles about protecting our environment (e.g. https://web.facebook.com/photo?fbid=2618990948282&set=a.2715451079725) and by speaking and taking action to inspire others to do the same.
